We're pleased to share some positive progress on two sites in Wybourn - the former Allotment site off Maltravers Close and the Orchard site off Maltravers Terrace.

Both areas had become heavily overgrown, were affected by fly-tipping, and were no longer usable. These sites have now been fully cleared, and we’re delighted to report that the majority of the cleared material was recycled.

To make sure the sites stay in good condition, Great Places has appointed a contractor to visit every three weeks to strim new growth and prevent them from falling back into disrepair.

Now we’d like to hear from you. Mel King, Great Places Community and Partnerships Manager for Wybourn, is consulting with local people to understand what you would like these spaces to become in the future.

Please sign the guestbook below and share your ideas, suggestions, or hopes for these sites. Your views will help shape what happens next.
