Not allowing pets Heather Drysdale

I have lived at Cambridge Gardens for thirty six years.

Regarding pets the ruling always was you could have a pet if it was in a cage

e.g. Budgie or some sort of small bird

I feel it would be absolute bedlem if people were allowed to keep dogs or cats

I have had a very bad experience in the past of someone living in the flat underneath

myself this person would go out and leave the poor animal on its own for several

hours the dog whimpered and barked for hours it was not the dogs fault as this dog was not used to beining alone.

Just think if you were living in a block of six flats and three people had a dog

the noise and possible mess that may end up on the hallway carpets Also cats if they

came in with an other person and could not get into your flat if the animal needed to go to the toilet there may be mess on the carpets can you think what other residents

would like that.I am an animal lover myself however I feel it would cause nothing but trouble and I am sorry to say it would not prove a wise move to allow pets.
