** Update 14 November **

Thank you again to all of the customers who told us what order you'd like us to consult customers about the different bits of our Tenancy Management policy. We've used what you told us to update the order in which we'll contact customers so that you can tell us what matters to you about those things.

We'll do these next consultations in this order:

  • Allowing us in to your home - this might be for repairs, or essential regular safety visits. We'll contact customers directly where they haven't let us in to their home for some reason.
  • Abandoned (empty) homes or Living in your home - in a housing crisis we need to make sure that our homes are lived in, so if someone has left their home without letting us know, what steps should Great Places take to make sure that that home can go to someone who needs this? And what about the customers who need to spend sometime away from home, but are expecting to come back? How do we work well with them to keep their home safe, but also minimise any effect on the wider community? We'll be launching this consultation very soon, right here on our Our Voice page for you to give your views.

Then in the new year, we'll look into the best ways to consult customers about:

  • Exchanging your home with someone else (mutual exchange)
  • Keeping your homes and gardens tidy
  • Noise transfer (hearing normal living noise from other homes i.e. footsteps, washing machines etc.)
  • Using homes for business

** Update 18 October **

Thank you to all of the customers who have given their views in our survey about which projects we should work on first with you. We've closed this survey to have a look at what you told us. We'll contact the prize draw winner soon.

Your tenancy is made up of lots of different rules and statements about what you can expect from us, and what we expect from our customers. Some of these things are set by law, but our approach to others might change over time.

We'll be working with customers over the next 18 months to update all of the different bits of our Tenancy Management policy. But which of these things are most important to you? Click 'What consultations should Great Places prioritise?' below to tell us in our survey, and we'll work with you first on the areas that are most important to customers. Answer that survey and we'll enter you in to a prize draw to win a £50 Love2shop e-gift card.

**Prize Draw Terms & Conditions - All completed entries will be entered into a prize draw to win one of three £50 Love2shop e-gift cards. There is no cash alternative available. Please note that tenancy issues may be taken into account when the winners are chosen. All activities will close at 11.59 pm on Wednesday 16 October 2024 and any submissions completed after this time will not be entered into the draw. Winners will be chosen at random and contacted within 15 working days of the closing date.**
