UPDATE - 15/10/2024

In July 2024 we contacted all customers 16yrs old and over at The Vibe via email, post, text and also provided an option for telephone calls. This was to give you an opportunity to provide us with your feedback on your Draft Building and Fire safety Resident Engagement strategy.

We want to thank all the customers who took the time to give us feedback and also update you on what has happened since.

Some of the feedback we received was around the following areas:

  • More detailed information requested about yours and Plumlife’s responsibilities
  • Clarification on who to speak to about Fire safety
  • Who to contact with persistent alarm activation

We are not able to give you answers to all of these right now as we are still working on them, however, we have made amendments to the strategy to give clarification on areas you mentioned and are working with the local teams to address other concerns not related to the strategy.

In the coming months you will receive your final version of The Vibe Resident Engagement Strategy. Thank you again for your time and feedback.

    What do I need to know?

    The Building Safety Act places a duty on Great Places (including Plumlife) to deliver a strategy for engaging with you and other customers about building and fire safety at The Vibe. This is called a Resident Engagement Strategy and its purpose is to make sure that you are informed about fire safety, feel safe in your home, know how to raise any concerns and share ideas you may have.

    We have drafted a Resident Engagement Strategy for The Vibe that we would like your involvement with. Anyone who lives in your home and is aged 16 years or over is entitled to have their say so please share this with them.

    Over the next few weeks we are hoping that you can spend some time reviewing our draft Resident Engagement Strategy and answer some questions to ensure that when you receive the final version it meets the needs of all The Vibe customers.

    You will have three weeks to give us your feedback before we will close the consultation at 11:59 Thursday 1st August 2024


    What do I need to do?

    To help us to understand your thoughts and views on the draft Resident Engagement Strategy, please spend some time completing the below activities

    1. Read through our draft Resident Engagement Strategy, you will find this under The Vibe Draft Resident Engagement Strategy on your right hand side. (This is not how the final version will look but it is important that you have your say on the information in the document)
    2. Complete the survey about the Resident Engagement Strategy
    3. Complete the quick polls


    What happens next

    Once the consultation has closed the Fire Safety project team will review all you have told us. We will then make any final changes, based on your feedback, and provide new copies of this document to you and anyone else over the age of 16 who lives with you.

    We also need to make sure that we have up to date information for you and anyone who lives with you. We need this information to make sure that we can support you in the event of a fire at The Vibe.
