One thing that stood out for me was that some people didn’t realise that the service existed. So, thanks to your feedback we have made some changes to how we publicise the service, we have designed a new service leaflet that is accessible for all customers. We are also working on designing a dedicated new tenancy coach page on our website where you can find all the information you need about the service.

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to complete the survey. Contributions to this consultation are now closed for evaluation and review. During this time, we will work closely with the Tenancy Coach team and will read through all of your responses to understand what is most important to customers and identify any areas for improvement.

Thanks to those customers who’ve already told us in our survey what is important to them should they need support from Great Places. We’d still like to hear from more of our customers so we’ve extended the deadline to complete the survey until Sunday 2 July 2023.

We are currently reviewing our Tenancy Coach Service, which supports customers with a range of needs so that they can maintain their tenancies. Our Tenancy Coaches work with customers on a one-to-one basis through regular wellbeing sessions, helping customers to identify what they need and supporting them with a customer-led plan to accomplish this.

What can the Tenancy Coach Service support me with?

The service can support customers who live in our general needs homes with:

  • Financial hardship
  • Substance addictions
  • Mental and physical health needs
  • Resettlement work (Support to set up a new tenancy & utilities ‘make a house a home’)
  • Move on Support (supporting customers to find suitable rehousing should their current
  • property be unsuitable)
  • First-time tenancies/ Care Leavers
  • Addressing vulnerabilities such as isolation, domestic violence and bereavement
  • Support into accessing services as well as support with funding, grants, or debt issues
  • At risk of losing their tenancies or facing homelessness

Customers can contact their Neighbourhood Services Manager initially as they offer ‘light touch’ support in the first instance and then they will make referrals to our Tenancy Coach Service for additional support.


How can I tell you what would be important to me if need support from the Tenancy Coach Service?

We want to make sure the service continues to meet the needs of our customers, it doesn’t matter whether you have or haven’t had any experience of the Tenancy Coach Service previously, you can still tell us what is important to you. If you complete the survey by 11.59pm Sunday 11 June 2023 you’ll go in to a prize draw for a chance to win a £50 Love2shop e gift card.
