How do I register/submit my views
Each project on Our Voice will have different ways you can take part. You’ll be able to submit your feedback in a variety of ways including online discussion forums, interactive maps. quick polls, and surveys. To take part for the first time, please do the following
Sign up to Our Voice by using the Register button
Choose a username and password
Complete a few quick questions about you, If you are unsure of your tenancy reference number, email autoportal@greatplaces.org.uk and in the subject title type Tenancy ID and you will receive an automated response containing this information. We ask for this so that we are able to see if you are a customer and which consultations you have access too.
You will receive an email to validate your email address
Return to the Our Voice website insert link and sign in
If you are not a Great Places customer you will still be able to register, but please note that some of Our Voice projects will only be open to Great Places’ customers
Why do I need to register on Our Voice to make a comment
We ask you to register for a few reasons
Many of our projects will only be open to customers and giving us your details will mean we can make sure you can have your say on all of the consultations that are important to you
It encourages people to give more thoughtful responses because we can use your feedback to influence potential change
It means we can get back to you if there are any updates about the project let you know about other engagement opportunities, events and other initiatives that might interest you
It helps us make sure people follow our community guidelines, making it a safe, constructive environment for everyone using Our Voice
If you consent to answering the optional extra registration questions, it allows us to:
- Track what people think where you live
- Make sure that the customers who get involved with Our Voice are representative of all of our customers
- Invite you to join projects and consultations that you might be interested in or about a service you receive
- It improves the effectiveness of the way we communicate with all our customers
Can I use Our Voice anonymously?
If you register and leave a comment on a project this will show but will only display your chosen screen name.
Can I participate if I don’t register
If you do not register you will be unable to leave any comments, take part in any surveys and polls and miss out on any updates we might want to share with our customers
What happens to my feedback/comments?
The feedback we receive will be shared with the relevant teams and managers and will form part of the decision making process on the outcome of the project. We will update Our Voice so you are able to see what decisions have been made.
Is my feedback moderated
Great Places has a contract with Granicus who provide us with a product called EngagementHQ – this is our Our Voice platform.
The feedback you give us is moderated by a moderation team from Bang the Table. Bang the Table’s moderators provide multilingual moderation support to make sure customers, site administrators, and third parties are safe from malicious, inflammatory and illegal materials.
Bang the Table’s role in moderation of this site is to ensure that contributions are reviewed and assessed in an impartial manner according to the rules outlined in the Moderation policy.
At Great Places we believe that our customers and colleagues should never accept offensive and abusive correspondence and we take a zero tolerance approach to anyone who acts in this way.
Is my privacy protected?
Your personal information is safeguarded and processed in accordance with the requirements of privacy and data protection legislation.
Responses to Our Voice projects may be made publicly available, but any personal information will be kept confidential. Please visit our Privacy Policy to find out more detail about how we use the personal information collected from you and held in connection with your use of Our Voice.
How do I unsubscribe?
You can unsubscribe at any time, by unsubscribing you will no longer have the opportunity to have your say on the things/areas/services that are important to you and we will also stop contacting you via this platform
To unsubscribe - Click on your name on the top right of the screen
Click on profile and all your information will show
Scroll to the bottom and click on unsubscribe
Even though you may have unsubscribed unless you specifically ask your involvement/feedback will still be visible on the platform.
What if I am no longer a customer?
If you are no longer a customer you can still have access to the platform but this will be a more basic level, alternatively you could unsubscribe yourself by following the steps above.
